Born in Figueira da Foz, in 1996. Graduated from audiovisual courses from ISMT and ETIC. Complemented her studies with a course lectured by Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Christian Berger (’The White Ribbon & ‘Caché’) and Larry Smith - last director of photography of Stanley Kubrick (’Eyes Wide Shut’ & ‘Only God Forgives’), a photography course lectured by MoMA curator Sarah Meister and multiple masterclasses on FEST - New Directors | New Films Festival 2018-19. Ana directed, in-between 2020 e 2022, a documental trilogy in 3 different countries: Poland, Peru and Portugal.

Project coordinator at the international organization Piano&Coffee since 2015, through which Ana produced music videos for artists from 3 continents. She was a producer and programmer of the Shortcutz Figueira da Foz film festival between 2017 and 2020, and then taking on the position of creative director and chief designer of the Young South Film Festival in 2020. She is also co-founder and creative director of Plutão de Verão, a cultural association promoting cultural, participatory, training and solidarity projects.

In 2022, Ana was involved in the production and photography of the documentary episodes made for the project Ethno USA, curated and directed the videos for the first Sofar Sounds Faro, and participated in the 'Music For Human Rights' project in Israel and Berlin.

Her ongoing international collaboration with Ethno expanded in 2024 when she began volunteering with Ethno Chile, creating a three-part docuseries capturing the spirit and human connections of the project — a partnership she has since continued through two additional audiovisual coverages.

Now based in BC, Canada, Ana serves as the Festival Producer for both the Kamloops Film Festival and the Stseptékwles re Sk’elép (Coyote Stories) Indigenous Film Festival, alongside her year-round role as Communications Manager at the Kamloops Film Society.
